Meet the Founders of Lala's

Hello! We are Alyssa and Lance, the dynamic duo behind our beloved dog food company, Lala's. Our passion for dogs and dedication to quality make us the perfect team to provide your furry friends with the finest, locally sourced, slow-cooked, fresh dog food in the Boston area. As educators and chefs, our commitment to our community is deeply rooted in the belief that knowledge enhances the way we nourish ourselves and our pets. We are dedicated to providing you with not only the best product possible but also the understanding of why it's the best. Each meal is crafted with care, using locally sourced ingredients and culinary expertise, all with the goal of enriching the lives of our furry companions.

As full-time educators, our commitment to knowledge and learning extends beyond the classroom into our business. We dedicate our evenings and weekends to Lala's, pouring our hearts and expertise into every aspect of the business.  When we're not shaping young minds, we're crafting nutritious meals for your beloved pups. Our passion for education drives us to not only provide you with the best products but also to educate our community about the importance of quality nutrition for pets. We believe that by sharing our knowledge and love for dogs, we can make a positive impact on the lives of both pets and their owners.

We both grew up with dogs and understand how much they shape kids' lives, especially during hard times when social-emotional support is needed. Our dogs were always there for us, offering unconditional love and companionship. They were a source of comfort and strength, helping us navigate the challenges of growing up.

With this in mind, we are excited to start a new chapter with our dog food business, Lala’s. This venture isn't just about providing local pups and families with healthy, fresh food; it's also about giving back to the community that has supported us for so long. We want Lala’s to be more than just a business. We envision it as a community hub where people can come together, share their love for their pets, and access nutritious food options.

As part of our commitment to giving back, we plan to start an initiative to fund social-emotional learning (SEL) dogs in public schools throughout the Boston area when our business reaches the ability to do so. These dogs can provide much-needed emotional support to students, helping them cope with stress and anxiety, and fostering a positive school environment.

Through Lala’s, we aim to create local jobs, support other small businesses, and contribute to community events and initiatives. We hope to partner with local shelters and pet organizations to ensure that every pet has access to healthy food. This new entrepreneurial chapter is our way of continuing to serve and uplift our community, and we dream of Lala’s becoming Boston’s proud small fresh dog food business, known for its quality, care, and community spirit.
